Nigerian Agriculture: Awe Little Farmer (S6) - Planting Yam in a Sack.

Wanting to be a farmer or planting crops for fun should not be limited to farmland owners alone.

Today, we will be planting a yam in a sack and yes it is very possible and you can try it out too.
Tools needed:
  • 25kg sack bag (the rice bag will be good enough)
  • Some soil
  • Yam seed
  • Water

            (Yam seed)

Procedure:

Fill your sack bag with the soil ensure you have little space in the bag unfilled for hand room. Dig down the soil for about 7 inches, place the yam seed into it, cover and wet with water.

The yam will take just 6 to 12 months to grow and become harvested; sometimes one yam seed can grow 3 yams even when you plant in a sack bag.

Do not wait on this hack, hop on it and harvest your yam in no time.
