Nigerian Tourism: National War Museum.


Nigeria has had several historical events, both great and small, going down timeline today we visit the National War Museum one of Nigeria's most cherished museums in the nation.

The National Museum is located in Umuahia, Abia State, it houses various war animations, aircraft, and tanks used during the Biafra war, asides the types of machinery there are pictures  taken during the war and afterwards.

The museum does not exist to keep historical items only, it was established to remind the people of what was lost and the things sacrificed to keep Nigeria together, the hardship the eastern Nigeria had gone through during the civil (1967-1970).  

The entrance fee is 500 naira and 250 for children, you can bring your camera along to keep memories, there is a tour guide on the ground to take you around and give you a brief background on the weapons and pictures on display.

Take some time to visit the National War Museum, and have history told to you at fact-checked.
