When skills like plumbers are mentioned, people tend to
frown towards it believing it is a “dirty” job, yes you might get some dirt on
your overalls while working, but remember that you are getting paid, funny enough most skilled works
(plumbers, electricians, and co ) get paid more than white-collar officers in various places both in Nigeria and
abroad.
The plumbing industry is very resourceful, there is always a need to call the plumber, in the kitchen, bathroom, and sometimes a pipe might burst in a wall, only a plumber can fix it, which means the plumbing industry is always busy and busy means getting paid.
Plumbers make an average of 500,000 (five hundred thousand naira) per year and can make as high as 1.5 (one million, five hundred thousand naira) in a good year, sometimes more.
Just like any other industry, the plumbing industry accommodates both male and female and it takes about 6-12 months to learn this skill, to make time speed up faster, begin to learn the skill as soon as possible.
