Toyin Oladiran popularly called Abeni Agbon is a Nigerian veteran actress, she is amazing at what she does as her skill has not dwindled over the years. Many might not know who Abeni is but this article is about to enlighten you.
Toyin Oladiran began her career in the early 70s her passion for art ignited the mischievous teen in her as she would sneak out of her father's house to watch evening drama on television through Neighbor's window. It was not long that she acquired a secondary school education then got the opportunity to join the entertainment industry.
Passion-driven Toyin got her first appearance in the movie Ifayemi Elebuibon. Her performance in the movie would later open more opportunities in the industry for her.
Toyin Oladiran got her trademark nickname from one of the movies her boss the late veteran actor/producer Yekini Ajileye produced. The movie was a sequel titled Kòtò Ayé. The last of the sequel was titled Segilola Abeni Abgon, of which Toyin played the main character.
Following the success of her performance in the movie, Toyin became well known in the industry thereby getting more roles, mainly to play the part she played in the Abeni Abgon movie.
There were many controversies that Toyin was as wicked in real life as she depicted in most characters she interpreted in movies but she addressed this issue in an interview where she stated that she is particularly gentle in person and many can testify to her good virtue.
After over 4 decades in the industry, Toyin is still very much active in her career, she is blessed with her family and children.
