The trend in the Nollywood industry is putting your child into the movie business, it might not be in front of the camera, but at the back of the camera is also a great choice.  Toyin Adewale on the other hand took another trend and you're about to find out how. Toyin Adewale is a  Nollywood veteran actress who has been in the industry for decades, although she's has been off from acting for a while she still has her offspring in the entertainment business.

There are a few things you probably don't know about Toyin Adewale and you are here to find out what they are. 

1) It might news to some, but some people still don't know that Toyin Adewale is the mother of award-winning Nigerian musician Mayorkun. Amazingly, you begin to see the striking resemblance between mother and child when you realise that information. 

2)  Asides from being the mother of one of Nigeria's most successful musicians, Toyin had her own success, she lived an ambitious life. her father was a polygamist, she was the only child of her mother but she has other siblings from her father's wife.

3)  Toyin began acting at the age of 19 in the year 1988 she was given English soap opera roles in the early part of her years,  and the first movie role she appeared in was Irepodun, this was her first Yoruba movie.

4) The actress met her husband Sunday Adewale while working in the movie industry during the early part of her career, the couple tied the knot soon and the couple's marriage is blessed with children. one of the children is the famous Mayorkun.

5)  Being an actress is not the only thing that encompasses Toyin's career, she is also a caterer, she owns her own catering outfit called  Tasty Lee services.
