Remember Bimbo Aishat

When we remember the dead there is a spark of pain the bolts through our hearts, this is how we feel when we remember Aishat Abímbólá.

3 years after Bimbo's death life have moved on, the era has changed, innovations have been made, and many more but it does not take away the fact that while Bimbo was alive she did all she could to succeed as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, actress, and producer. She was all she could be and even more to her loved ones.

The late actress was born on the 19th of December in the year 1970, she would have been 51 years old as of 2021, she later died on the 15th of May in the year 2018.

She acquired Western education as she obtained her BS.c in Hotel Management from Lagos State Polytechnic.

She went into the acting industry which gave her the fame she was known for till death. Bimbo came into the limelight through the movie 'Omoge Campus', then went on to feature in movies like 'So wrong So right', 'Kamson and Neighbor', and many more including and most especially Yoruba movies.

Upon her death from breast cancer, the actress prepared for her death and the life of her children, Abímbólá made fellow actress Lola Alao (check out quick facts about Lola Alao) the guardian of her two children.

After her death, Bimbo was laid to rest in Ontario Canada as she was also a Canadian.

Remembering Aishat Abímbólá does not raise her from the dead, it does not change her fate, but it could change ours, reminding us that death is inevitable so we have to live right, to the fullest, and be good to others.

May the soul of Aishat Abímbólá continue to rest in peace.
