Nigerian Drink: Fura da Nono

Nigerian drink - Fura da Nono

Fura da nono is a special drink among the native Fulani tribe of Northern Nigeria. The fura da nono in English means Millet and Milk. The Nono (Milk) is a locally fermented milk produced from the cow or goat milk while the Fura is made from millet in a semi-solid ball shape.
The Fura da nono drink is so sweet and tastes good that it is being taken by across various ranges of ages, social status and gender of non-Fulani Africans. They enjoy taking fura calabash and feeling refreshed.

The millet in fura is rich in magnesium which helps in fighting heart attacks and migraines. Nono (Milk) helps in the building of the bones in our body due to the presence of calcium and protein.

Fura da nono helps during digestion or constipation too.
