- Vincent Enyeama made his first appearance for Super Eagles as a goalkeeper in 2002.


- He captained the Super Eagles team from 2013 till retirement from football.


- Penalty shoot-outs were nightmares for him in any tournament or games during his time in Enyimba Aba.


- In all of his 100 appearances at the international club, Enyeama scored 10 goals as a goalkeeper.


- He kicked started his career as a footballer at Ibom Stars between 1999 & 2001.


- He appeared in 101 games for the Nigeria National Team


- He is currently a coach for a French side club "Iris"


- He received the CAF champion league "Players of the Year in 2003 & 2004 and the Nigeria Pitch Awards in 2013 & 2014.


Enyeama is a Christian by religion and is married with 3 kids.
