Nigerian Instrument: The Kakaki.

The Kakaki.

The Kakaki is a three-four meter end-blown horn used in Hausa traditional events. The horn is mainly played by men and the sound is associated with royalty. This means it can only be played at the palace of the Sultan (King) and other social dignitaries. Kakaki can also be found in other Islamized countries like Cameroon, Chad and Sudan.
