Sunday Ogochukwu Oliseh is a former "Super Eagles" captain and Head coach to the National football team. Below are some fun facts about the living legend.

1 - Sunday Oliseh was among the team that won the Atlanta 96 Olympic games and earned a gold medal.

2- He hails from Abravo Delta state but was born in Ojota Lagos on the 14th of September 1974.

3- He once disclosed that his passion for football did not hinder his studies, so he combined education and football before finally holding onto football professionally.

4- He started his football career around the 1990s where he was invited for a trial by a Belgian football agent. He was signed to the club on the spot.

5- His thunderbolt shot fired from 25 yards straight into the goal post against Nigeria and Spain in the 1998 world cup which led Nigeria to a victory that will forever be remembered.

6- Sunday Oliseh was an active Midfielder during his days. He featured in 54 international matches and also played in the 1995 and 1998 world cups.

7- At the age of 31, he retired from international football (June 2006) and later went for a 3-year coaching course and also a diploma in business management.

8- He was appointed into the Technical Study Group by FIFA in 2013.

9 - Sunday Oliseh can speak up to three foreign languages, French, Italian and Dutch

10- He got married to his Belgian-Moroccan woman after the 1994 world cup and both had two kids, a boy and a girl.
