Nigerians love and enjoy attending weddings, an individual can attend up to 20 weeding's in a year. Weddings are spectacular events in Nigeria. Weddings bring friends and family, spectators, critiques, uninvited guest and well-wishers. Aso Ebi can be very expensive at times, ranging from as low as N5,000 and as high as N70,000

Below are some tips to help you choose the type of dress or style to wear.

- Never attempt to wear a dress that will steal attention away from the bride. Wearing a white dress is a NO.

- Make sure you wear a loose-fitting dress in case planning to eat a lot of food on the occasion.

- Put on a dress that will make you feel comfortable so you can "Komole" (Dance) properly when it's time to merry.

- Don't dress inappropriately because you don't want to leave a bad impression of yourself on our elders, grandparents, parents, family e.t.c.

- You can build your colour theme of the wedding dress to what you have in your wardrobe but never go too hard on it.
