Akara Ogbomosho
Akara Ogbomosho is a very hard and dry snack with a delicious and special taste which can last and retain its freshness for at least 2-3 weeks. It is different from the normal soft Akara. The idea of the snacks was conceived during the Yoruba civil wars.
Akara Ogbomosho has two main ingredients for its preparation, water and cowpea. You can get the snacks at the motor packs in Ogbomosho. These days it comes packed, sometimes in branded pouches which you can easily get both on the streets and in the supermarket.
