- His full names are Olusoji Adetokunbo Fasuba and he has a record of 9.85 seconds at the Doha grand Prix in May 2006 during the 100m race which launched him to being the African record holder.
- He was born into a family of sprinters with his mother being a Jamaican sprinter that participated in sprint running during her youthful age. Olusoji was always hired by the secondary school team, despite being at a primary school age bracket.
- He was born on July 9 1984, and a cousin to Don Quarrie (a former Jamaican track and field athlete).
- He was good at playing football, basketball and volleyball and these skills earned him a scholarship to study Athletics at Merit Mixed Secondary School.
- He attended Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife but quit school to focus on athletics, his passion.
- Olusoji had his first breakthrough at the "2003 World Championships in Athletics" where he finished fourth position but later won a Gold medal at the "Afro-Asian games", same year.
- Fasuba won a Bronze medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics and finished 5th at the "world indoor championships" and came second at the "Commonwealth Games"
- He was chosen by the Athletics Federation of Nigeria in 2006 as the "Male Athlete of the year", he won two Gold medals at the "2007 All African games"
- Fasuba retired from sports at the age of 28 and joined the British Navy in 2012. He also got married to a sprinter "Ngozi Nwokocha" and they both had a daughter together and named her Annabelle.
