Okpa di Oku.

Okpa is a Nigerian locally made food that is very popular in the eastern part of Nigeria. Okpa is a lovely and delicious meal that is made from Bambara flour. The Bambara groundnut or beans are ground into flour in order to get it's natural and delicious flavour when prepared.
If you have travelled down to Enugu state, you would have come across the Okpa sellers hawk it freely on the street. 
The Ingredients for making Okpa are:
  • Okpa flour
  • Salt
  • Maggi
  • Palm oil
  • Pepper, and
  • Warm water.
Its Health Benefits are numerous but majorly;
  • Its prevents malnutrition
  • It fights bone diseases
  • It provides strength 
  • It helps boost the blood level.
