Quick facts you need to know about Emmanuel Amunike.

Emmanuel Amunike is a retired professional Nigerian footballer who was part of the "Dream team" that won the Atlanta 1996. He had a lovely football career both at home and during his time at FC Barcelona club back then. 

Here are a few quick facts about him.
- He's a former Nigerian professional player and coach who played as a winger for the "Super Eagles"

- He was born on the 25th of December 1970 in Eziobodo Owerri Imo State.

- He won domestic league in his early career both in Nigeria and Egypt.

- He was bought for 3.6 million dollars by the FC Barcelona in  December 1996. 

- He played for Nigeria 27 times and scored 9 goals.

- Amunike was part of the team that won the Tunisia 1994 cup of Nation which also earned him the African footballer same year. 

- He scored against Italy and Bulgaria in the 1994 World Cup held in the USA.

- He took some coaching courses in Europe around 2008 and coached the U17 Nigeria football team to win the 2015 world cup.

- Tanzania national football team announced Emmanuel Amunike as the head coach for their team on August 8th 2018.

- Emmanuel has two brothers Kevin and Kingsley who are professional footballers as well.

- Amunike's last-minute goal at the Atlanta 96 against Argentina earned the Super Eagle (Dream team) the Golden medal.
