Nigerian Food: Eating Healthy, Eating Beans

Brown Beans is a very healthy food, it’s richness in protein makes it an aid to a balanced diet in Nigeria.
This food crop is very much available in any Nigerian market and accessibility is never an issue.
Brown Beans is sold for at least 300Naira per derica which should serve a family of 4.
The nutritional value of brown beans overrides some people’s dislike for it, as mentioned before it is a great source of protein, fibres, and other nutrients.

Although brown bean can take up time in whatsoever form you want to prepare it, the good news is you can cook it in your free time and store it in the fridge especially porridge beans and brown beans.

Brown bean can create several dishes which include:

  • Porridge beans
  • Moin Moin
  • Akara
  • Ekuru
  • Dry beans and rice
  • Dry beans and sweet corn

and many more.

Eat beans today, eat healthy.
