11 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Tope Alabi.

Tope Alabi is a Nigeria number 1 female gospel singer who is has a unique voice that is highly recognized by both old and young. She's also an actress and a music composer. 

Below are a few things you probably didn't know about her.

- Tope Alabi was part of the member of the Jesters International comedy group which she later left in 1984.

- She was born on the 27th of October 1970 in Lagos State but originally hails from Yewa Imeko Ogun State.

- She is the only daughter of her parents.

- Tope Alabi was crowned by Nigerian Twitter as the Queen of Yoruba Language on 21 May 2019.

- In 1986 Tope received her WAEC certificate from Oba Akinyele Memorial High School Ibadan.

- She worked as a correspondent at the NTA Ibadan after her graduation in 1990.

- She had an HND in Mass Communication from Ibadan Polytechnic.

- She has composed numerous soundtracks for  Yoruba Nigeria films and also worked with lots of theatre groups both in Ibadan and Lagos.

- She was married to her Pianist Soji Alabi who also happened be her music manager, and they both have children together.
