Nigerian Bake: Bake A Cupcake Without Butter




To bake your cupcake without butter you’ll need:

  • 168g of flour
  • 200g of sugar
  • 70g of vegetable oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • Vanilla flavouring
  • 150g of milk
  • ¼ teaspoon of baking powder

Preparation:
In a very clean bowl (make sure there is no oily substance in it) preferable metallic bowl, break in two eggs and whisk for 5mins, add ¼ portion of your sugar in it and whisk for another 5mins, add in another portion of your sugar, whisk and add sugar until you have added the fourth portion of your sugar till the egg-sugar base is thick.


Now add your milk, vegetable oil and flavouring and then mix all together. The last ingredient to be added is your flour, mix them all together and pour this batter equally into your cupcake pan. Bake for 30mins on medium heat and your butterless cupcake is ready.


You can cover it with buttercream or eat just like that. Enjoy!!
