Israel Mobolaji Adesanya is a Nigerian-New Zealand "Ultimate Fighting Champion"( UFC ) middleweight champion of the world. He has been making himself and his home country Nigeria proud in the diaspora. "The Last style-bender" has 20 wins undefeated and no losses in his fighting career.

Below are 10 things probably didn't know about Israel.
- He was born in Lagos State, Nigeria on the 22nd of July 1989 and he is the eldest of 5 children from the same parent.

- His father Olufemi is a charted accountant while his mom named Taiwo is a nurse.

- He had his high school education at the Chrisland school at Opebi where he had his taekwondo lessons

- He experienced a lot of bullying in high school, this influenced Israel decision to pursue a career in martial arts.

- He won his first fight seven winning streaks in 2010  by defeating Tim Antonio in a unanimous decision.

- He made his professional debut against James Griffiths in 2012 with a TKO winning.

- "The last style-bender" enjoys dancing and also a great fan of anime, he plans going into anime production after retiring from professional fighting.

- He signed a contract with the UFC on December 2017 and made his debut against Rob Wilkinson, and won the fight in a second-round via technical knockout.

- Adesanya became the first mixed martial arts to sign a deal with Puma in 2020.

- He can speak the Nigerian Pidgin, English and Yoruba fluently.
