It is easy to say that
there is a shift in the Nigerian fashion, still modest yet freedom is
introduced. The likes of Sokoto kembe was the in thing in the olden days, then
we went on to have more fitted trousers in the past generation now we have
Ankara shorts to rock on sunny days.
The question is, will Nigerian
men actually rock Ankara knee shorts, we have been used to the normal fitting
trousers, that cover the whole legs, no exposure of the skin in any way. Now
there is a new trend in town and it seems to embarrass the culture.
It is normal for a man to
wear shorts in jeans or chinos material, but will they rock shorts in the Ankara material.
Ankara has a lot of colors and patterns
going on, will they mind introducing a new style to their wardrobe? This is a
question only a man will answer. So will you rock an Ankara short?.
