Plant Cabbage in a Container.

Cabbage is a very nutritious vegetable, it’s very much available in the Nigerian market but at an expensive rate. A small ball of cabbage goes for 400 naira, it may sound cheap, but for an average Nigerian, it’s a bit pricy. Cabbage is known to help with weight loss and with ulcers.

Here are a few easy steps to plant your very healthy and nutritious cabbage.
There are two ways to plant cabbage in a container at home. The first is through seedlings, or through buying a sprouted cabbage plant. For this article, we will use the sprouted plant.

Tools:
·        Buckets (5liters)
·        Mixture of Compost and soil
·        Sprouted cabbage plant (you can get this at any farmer’s market)
·        Water
·        And manure

Planting process:

Empty the mixture of soil and compost into the bucket, dig the soil 4inches deep, then gently remove the sprouted plant from the container it came with, along with the soil, gently place the plant into dug soil and cover it up, exposing only the sprouted plant area.
Once you have successfully transplanted the cabbage, water it, and leave it to grow. The growth of cabbage takes 3months only, within the 3months make sure to add manure to the plant at least once every month.
This is such an easy way to plant cabbage right in your home.
