Not all superheroes wear capes, this is the story of veteran Nigerian actress Idowu Philips popularly called Iya Rainbow. Asides from being an actress for about 50years, she was a practising nurse for about most parts of her life, here are 5 things you probably don’t know about the famous Iya Rainbow.

Iya Rainbow was born on the 16th
of October year 1942, as of 2021, she is 79 years old, she doesn’t even look
close to 70... Hey, black don’t crack.
2. Idowu Philips is a certified Nurse who
practised for 20years; Iya rainbow was great at multitasking as she worked as
an actress and a nurse for about 20years. She did this to fulfil her dreams
and to help her family out.

3. She was married to the late Ayanfe Philips,
he was also in the movie-making industry, and they were married for 26years.
4. Iya
Rainbow has five children who are all fruit of her marriage to Ayanfe Philips.
5. She has acted in over 50 movies and TV
series alike; this has made her win several awards acknowledging her efforts in
the industry.
6. At least two of Iya Rainbow children are in the movie industry also; Femi Philips and Sola Osborne are children of Iya Rainbow who works in Nollywood.
It Is always wonderful
to have a closer look into the lives of our celebrity, it makes us understand
that they are humans also, Iya Rainbow’s life reminds of this also, her accomplishment
are that of a woman who has worked hard to be where she is today.
