Plant African spinach (Efo Tete) a Container.

 

The spinach vegetable is a major vegetable in Nigeria; it is used to make delicious soups like plain vegetables or vegetables with egusi and it is eaten along with various solid foods.

Spinach is sold at a minimum of 50naira in the market and planting spinach is very easy. As you know on awe farmers we plant vegetables and legumes in containers, in this article we’ll be doing just that with spinach vegetable.

To plant you will need the following tools:

10-15 liters container, create drainages in it.
Soil
Spinach seeds
Fertilizer
Water

Planting Process:

To begin planting, empty the soil into the container, dig the soil 4 inches deep and drop the seeds into the hole, cover it up with the soil and water moderately. Always remember that you should not overwater your seedlings and plant, the plant takes 6 weeks for the spinach to grow. Enjoy your planting experience.
