There are many great women in the Nigerian movie industry, they are phenomenal,
independent, and amazing, and amongst these women is the fascinating Uche Jombo.
Uche is a female Nigerian actress, producer, and entrepreneur, she worked her
way to the top through hard work, and here is her story.
Uche
was born on the 28th of December in the year 1979; she is 42 years
old as of 2021, she hails from Abia state the southern part of Nigeria.
Although from a middle-class family, Uche jumbo was able to acquire western education up until the university level, she holds two degrees, one from the University of Calabar and another from the Federal University of Technology Minna.
Uche’s passion for acting did not start just after university, she had always acted right from when she was little, she was always good at it, most of the time she acted in her church drama groups and more often she won the best actress, she was so good the church had sponsored her secondary school education.
The will to act had always been in her, she groomed it and then ventured into the
profession fully. Uche took her profession serious, climbing every ladder
possible, and then she went from being just an actress looking for her time to “blow”
to being a screenwriter, then to being a director and a producer. She grabbed
the opportunities that came her way and now we write about her.
Uche’s personal life is really private, asides from career achievements, (awards, recognitions and the likes) she tries to keep most event that happens in her life to herself, but we are sure that she married to Kennedy Rodriguez and together they have a son called Mattew.
We know Uche Jombo is not through with the Nigerian movie industry, she’s willing to give us more of her amazing movies and skills and we will accept them with open arms.
