Produce Your Own Phone Chargers

We live in a country full of intellectual talents, Nigerians are inspiring and talented in any field they choose, and today’s tech entrepreneurship is about a particular aspect of technology Nigerians have harnessed but unfortunately in a negative way.  

Most of the chargers that are bought at cheaper rate are called fake or “aba made” this is because everyone believes since it is made in Nigeria and it cost lesser than the imported ones then it is not of good quality, unfortunately, this is true most of the time. If you can come into this industry and stand out, produce phone chargers or earplugs of good quality, then you are in to make it big in Nigeria.


The market of sale of phone chargers in Nigeria is about $40million which is huge, although there are various obstacles in this industry which you will have to overcome gradually but persistence is key.

If you have not basic knowledge in the production of these phone accessories, do not worry, there are two ways to go about it, the first is to learn how to manufacture it. There online courses you can take on accessory manufacturing, they are available on Coursera, Allison, and other online learning platforms. Asides from learning online, there are people who already manufacturing these accessories, although they produce with sub-quality materials but the method of production is the same, you can learn from them and produce your with quality materials.


The second option for this skill is to employ those who can manufacture them already, they can be your first set of workers and then you employ others who you will train in and continue to enlarge your production outlet. As long as your product is done with integrity and the country's regulations are followed, you should excel in this tech field.

There is no gender restriction in In this field, you can definitely excel be you a Man or a Woman, give yourself time to learn this trade/skill in the field understand the tactics and learn from the experiences.
