Kanayo is a Nigerian actor; he is very famous, and he is known to play a particular character in most movies he has featured in, this has brought him much recognition, and awards. Here is a mini Bio of Kanayo O Kanayo.

It is a surprise to realize that his real name is not Kanayo O Kanayo, even when it is used to mention him in most movie actor’s lists. His real name is Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, Kanayo  O  Kanayo is just his nickname. He was born on the 1^st of March in the year 1962; hailing from Southwest Nigeria he was born to Donatus, and Isabella Onyekwere, who are his parents.

Kanayo did not live with his parents while growing up rather, he lived with his uncle and aunt, they gave him basic education alongside his cousins, he acquired education from the primary level up until Maters level before venturing into acting as a career. Recently he added being a Lawyer to his degree bag.

Kanayo’s acting career came into the limelight in 1992 with his debut movie ‘Living in Bondage” there he played the character which gave him the platform to play the same in other movies, which is the character of a ritualist. Kanayo  has continued to play such a role perfectly over the years that when you think of “blood money” in a movie you will think of him.

When it comes to family and privacy, Kanayo is very private, he is married to Nneka Onyekwere and they are blessed with 4 children. The couple has been married for about 20 years and they are still striving.
