If you watched many blockbuster and old movies in Nigeria then you must have heard of OGD, the producing house of movies like Owo blow, Golden ring, Family fire, and many more, these are all the works of Tade Ogidan. He is a veteran Nigerian producer, director and screenwriter, whose works have created several masterpiece and time standing arts.
Tade Ogidan began film
production around the age of 16.
He attended the Eastern
New Mexico University where he learned all about Film production and the media.
Coming back to Nigeria,
Tade was opportune to spend his NYSC service year at National Television Authority
(NTA) where he learned more of the practical aspect of producing and directing.
After his service year
Tade was retained at NTA where he spent around 10 years afterwards he branched
out to start his own venture, OGD.
Branching out was a
good decision for Tade as most of his projects were a hit, most of them won the
hearts of the public.
His work succeeded
because of his style of production, suspense, and direction of his movies.
Tade Ogidan is ever
going to be one of the pioneers that contemporize Nigerian movies, if you watch
his movies over and over again, they will still bring the same kind of feeling
they brought right from the year they were produced.
