Who is a Web Developer?


In the last article on Awe Entrepreneur skill acquisition, I discussed Tech entrepreneurship skills, listing several entrepreneurship skills one can learn in the technological field. I mentioned that I will talk and analyze various technological skills, breaking it down for you so you can easily deicide which you’d like to learn.

Today’s article is all about Web Development. I am sure you have heard about web development, one way or the other. If you do not have the whole knowledge of the skill, at least when you hear about web development, the things that can come to your mind are websites and probably coding. If those are the things you think about, then you are right.


Web Development is all about the creation and also maintenance of a website, there’s a lot of things that goes on when you type  www.xyz.com on the search bar and land on the website. The way the site is structured, the command that happens when you click on the home page or any other section of the website, these are all the work of a web developer, the web developer assures that the website works fast and seamlessly. 


The market worth of Web developers rates from 80 to 500,000 naira per month, and for a beginner, it is around 80 to 150 thousand Naira per month. Considering the economy of the nation at this present day, this is between a fair and good price.


It is not so simple to learn Web development but acquiring the knowledge is absolutely possible, it requires determination and passion. You do not necessarily require a degree to land a job in this field, you can as well easily learn the skill on and offline, from an expert or on your own, it depends on how easily you can access knowledge. This field does not restrict any gender; in fact, people come out every day to urge women to join the field.

Learn a skill today awe entrepreneur, learn Web development, be a web developer this year and be a tech pro too.
