Graphic Designing The Next Big Skill

Graphics designing is an amazing skill for anyone who has the mind for creativity. Many people are turning towards this aspect of tech, although graphics designing has been actively around for centuries, recently the treasure in this skill has been discovered and many of our youth are harnessing it.

Graphics designing is cool, according to Career Explorer, graphic design is a skill that involves the use of visual communication, it is when visual concepts are created through hand or through software.  Basically, graphics designers are professionals who create concepts in the aspects of logo designs, brand identity, flier and banner designs and many other graphics-related concepts.

The 21st-century graphic designer is not just the roadside printer; he/she also works with top organizations, personalities, and brands. With the change in technology and time, top designers now create classic designs that can be reckoned with it worldwide, you can see an example in the logo designs of brands like Google, Apple, Facebook, Twitter, and many more.

If you are willing to join the community of graphics designers, a field where you are in full connection with your creative spirit then you are sure that you are going to be financially satisfied. According to Salary Explorer, a survey they conducted in 2021 showed that the lowest salary a graphics designer gets is 95,000 Naira only while the highest salary is 329,000 Naira only, this is as an employed designer but as a freelance designer, the highest a month can be five hundred thousand to one million Naira, while the lowest is around 30,000 to 50,000 thousand Naira only.

To learn this skill you do not necessarily need to have a degree in designing, if you do not have basic knowledge in this field you can enrol for a short course in graphics design whether online or offline, to get the foundational knowledge here and the rest is you practising, and building a good portfolio for yourself, in no time you’ll be getting freelance jobs or even get offered employment in this field.
