Here are the ingredients and steps on how to make a tasty and soft doughnut at the comfort of your home.
INGREDIENTS
- Flour
- Milk flavour
- Sugar
- Yeast
- Nut Meg
- Vegetable oil
- Butter
- Chilled water
PROCEDURE
STEP 1: Sieve flour in a bowl, add nut meg, sugar, milk flavour and yeast. Mix thoroughly.
STEP 2: Add butter, mix using both palm facing each other until it is smooth.
STEP 3: Add chilled water to the mixture, mix until there is no more dry ingredients inside the bowl and makes a dough.
STEP 4: Place the dough on a clean flat surface and beat so it will rise well.
STEP 5: Place the dough inside a bowl and cover it for 15 minutes for it to rise.
STEP 6: Cut the dough and portion into doughnuts shape in your desired sizes.
STEP 7: Leave for another 15 minutes for it to rest and also rise.
STEP 8: Place a stainless pot on the cooker, pour vegetable oil till it is boiled.
STEP 9: Put the portioned dough into the oil and turn around and remove when it has a light weight and also has a golden brown colour.
