Legendary multi-award winning Nigerian Actor Baba Suwe Dies at 63. The news of the demise of the talented legend was brought to public notice by his son Adesola Morenikeji Omidina via social media.

- Baba Suwe is a comic actor. 

- His real name is Babatunde Omidina

- He was born on the 22nd of August 1958 in Lagos Island. 

- He attended Jamaitul Islamial in Lagos state for his primary education and Adekanbi Commercial High School for his secondary education. 

- Baba Suwe had his WAEC at Ifeoluwa Grammar school in Oshogbo Osun state. 

- He was featured in the movie titled "Omolasan" in 1971 and this brought him to the limelight. 

- His feature in "Irin Esin" a film produced by Olaiya Igwe in 1997 brought him to stardom and ever since has acted and produced multiples of Nigerian comedy movies. 

- He was arrested by Nigeria's National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLA) on suspicion of trafficking a restricted class of drug in 2011 which later was described as false and charges dismissed by the Lagos High Court. 

- He arrived in the United States of America in 2019 for the treatment of chronic diabetes.

- He died on the 22nd of November 2021

- Baba Suwe is survived by children and grandchildren.
