Victor Olaotan was a Nollywood veteran actor, notable for the calm way he interprets his scripts. The Nollywood industry received the sad news on Friday the 27th of August 2021 that the veteran actor Victor Olaotan has passed away on Thursday the 26th of August; this news came somewhat as a surprise as the actor seemed to be recovering from a ghastly vehicle accident which he survived five years ago.
The passing of this man of noble actions makes us reflect on his life story, although he tried as much as possible to keep him from the media eye. We will be sharing some of the key steps he took to be known in the film industry, his family, and his background.
Victor's full name is Victor Olaoluwatoyefunmi Olaootan, he was born on the 17th of February in the year 1952, as of the time of his passing on the 26th of August, Victor was 62 years old.
After the completion of his Secondary school education, the well-known actor got admitted into Obafemi Awolowo University where he obtained his first degree. Well acquainted with education, the actor obtained a Master's degree from an international university.
The actor's love life was kept in privacy. Victor was married to the beautiful Julia Olaotan, she was very active during the time the actor was very ill, and she used all social media platforms to raise the financial help her husband needed to bounce back to good health.
There is no information about his children or his siblings.
Victor Olaotan began his acting career through soap operas, this gave him the ability to appear in multiple soap opera projects. After a few years of acting, he became well known for his superb ability to interpreter scripts in soap operas and even movies. He was very active in the industry before the accident which he survived but took his life.
We pray that his SOUL is received and his family is protected and keep them from harm, may his soul rest in peace.
