7 Veteran Actors We Don't See On Our Screens Anymore

There have been various natural talents that have passed through our screens in Nigeria. Many talented actors, giving us amazing content in movies like State of Emergency, Campus Queen, Village Destroyer, etc. Many actors have shown their eloquent talent during the late 90s and early 2000s but most of these actors have left the industry as the years go by. Some believe they left the industry to give out more opportunities for upcoming talents. 

In as much as we are entertained by various actors and actresses these days, there is no doubt that we miss some of them. Today we are going down memory lane, here are 10 veteran actors we miss in the industry.

1) Pat Attah: The famous Nigerian playboy, Pat Attah was one of Nigeria's most loved actors. He was also a musician but was more known for his acting. he became famous through his acting in the masterpiece movie Glamour Girls. After acting in some Nigerian movies, Pat decided to leave the industry a few years late. he is more into photography now.

2) Ernest Asuzu: Famous for his roles in movies like Royal wars, Ogidan, Burning wars, and many more. He has acted in over 100 movies, he was active in the industry till 2015 when he was said to have had a stroke. Ernest's health fluctuated till 2020 when he finally passed on. 

3)  Saint Obi: Saint Obi was a fine actor during his time in the industry, he made a great impact through his talent. There have been various movies that Saint Obi featured during his time, like Heart of Gold, Goodbye Tomorrow,  Executive Crime. now out of the acting, Saint Obi is an entrepreneur. 

4) Bob-Manuel Udokwu: Bob was one of the most appreciated and eloquent talents in Nollywood. He was a show presenter and an amazing actor. Bob was amazingly talented and loved by fans, he had featured in several movies and series like Checkmate, When the Sunset,, etc. We are not sure where he is now but we hope he is doing fine. 

5) Samuel Dedetoku: Popularly called Sam, the veteran actor had over 20 years of experience in acting before becoming a lecturer. he was famous for featuring in action movies and he had features in 250 movies in two decades.

 

6)  Kenneth Okonkwo: Kenneth is an amazing actor who has had about three decades of experience in the industry. although it seems that he has been out of the acting career for a while now, he has recently appeared in a few movies. Kenneth made his debut into the public eye in 1992, afterward, he continued to climb the ladder of his career, acquiring fame and honour. 

7) Clem Ohmaeze: Clem Ohmaeze is an amazing actor, he is what critics called a Round actor, he could be comedic and also serious. Clem took all the opportunities that came his way as an actor. The actor started his career in an NTA series drama in 1995, he went on acting in many movies, the likes of Living in Bondage, Endtime, etc. He made a name for himself in the industry. Now he is more into Business.
