5 Things About Liz Benson You Probably Don't Know

Liz Benson is a veteran Nigerian actress who made her big break in the mid-90s. Her acting efficacy brought her well-deserved fame and accolades. Movies like Glamor Girls, Scores to Settle, Diamond Ring, etc, showcased her to the world and gave her her fan base. In the early 2000s she decided to go off the screens for a while, which dragged on to years, although she has featured in a film or two afterwards, she hasn't made the kind of come back her fans her waiting for. Liz has kept most of her life personally this is why we are giving you 5 things you might not know about her.


1) Liz Benson was born on the 26th of April in the Year 1966, as of 2021 She is 55 years of age, we don't have a recent picture of her's but we hope she's ageing gracefully.

2) The Phenomenal actress is said to have begun acting at the age of 5.


3) Liz ensured to be trained and skilful in her field of choice before going into the movie industry. She acquired a degree in Dramatic Arts from Sylvania State College USA.

4)  Liz took a break from acting to go into Gospel Ministry. As a result of the passing of her first husband, Liz married a minister of God and relocated to his state to help him with the ministry. In an interview with Goldyne, she said she is considered the second in command in the ministry.


5) Although not as often, Liz has featured in a few award-winning movies over the years. An example is the 21mins short file Living Funeral that had 5nomination won an award at the AMVCA.


It is evident that even though she is not as active in the industry as she used to as she is supposed to, she is doing well for herself.
