Biography of Yemi Eberechi Alade - Who is she, Career and Personal Relationship etc.



Yemi  Alade is a vibrant  Nigerian singer, songwriter, born on the 13th March 1989.

She's the daughter of an ex-chief police officer James Alade.

She hails from two different tribes in Nigeria, Yoruba and Igbo. Her parents are from Ondo State and Abia State.

Yemi Alade studied "Geography" at the  University of Lagos (UNILAG).

Her fame to the music industry was when she won the peak 2009 talent hunt show. After that, she also dished out some singles, “Tangerine,” “Johnny”, and “Kissing" and which launched her music career.

Yemi's "Johnny" was a hit across Africa and Europe countries. The song had about (122 million views) on YouTube.

She featured on Beyoncé's “Black is King” project which was released on the 31st July 2020.

She has 4 albums under her belt and they are, "Kings of queens”(2014) "Mama Africa”(2016) 'Black Magic”(2017) “Woman of Steel”9 (2019). 

Yemi Alade is currently single and maybe searching.
