Nigerian Hair Style: Crochet Goddess Faux Locs

One thing I love is how easy crochet hair is to do, how versatile it is to style and how inexpensive it is.

Materials:

1. Your desired braiding pattern.

2. Readymade Faux Locs(3 packs) and Deep Twist Crochet hair(1 pack)

3. Crochet hook

4. Virgin Hair Fertilizer (Optional)

5. Morrocan Oil (Optional)

6. Styling Foam (Optional)

Step 1 - Put the latch hook through your hair.

Step 2 - Put the hole of the faux loc in the latch, close it and pull about 5cm through.

Step 3 - Open the hole and grab the hair from both ends and put the longer side through the knot formation and tighten.

Step 4 - From about a quarter of the way, put your hook through the faux locs and make your way up till you get close to the knot.

Grab your real hair and hook onto the latch, close it and pull through (You might need to wiggle it a little).

Step 5 - Repeat Step 1-4 all over, till your braiding pattern is covered.

Step 6 - Repeat the same with the deep twist crochet but in randomized spaces.

Duration: 4 - 6 weeks

PS: Ensure to cover your hair at night with a silk/satin scarf to protect your natural hair and keep your hair looking fresher for longer.
