Afeez Owo Mini Bio

Afeez is one of those actors the Yoruba's will call “Oga Ise” this translates to “Boss at his job”, Afeez is a real boss in the Nigerian movie industry, and he is an actor, scriptwriter, director, and producer. He has accomplished many achievements in the industry and here is a mini-biography of the actor.

Afeeez Owo’s real name is Afeez Abiodun, the Owo is inputted in his name when he became frequent to acting as an Owo character in movies. The actor was born on the 12^th of April, the years are unknown but it is presumed that he is within his late 40s and early 50s.

He acquired western education only to the secondary school level, afterwards, he went after his acting career, as a native of iseyin in Oyo state where he grew up, Afeez moved to Lagos state where he was introduced to the movie industry.

From the late 90s when Afeez joined the industry till 2021, Afeez is said to have produced, acted, and directed about 2000 movies, he is extremely talented and superbly experienced.

Afeez married his fellow colleague Mide Martins who is the daughter of the late veteran actress Funmi Martins, the couple got married few years after Mide’s mother died in 2002 and the couple’s marriage is blessed with children.

The expert is still in the business of movie production and acting and we are sure to see more of his skills on our screens for years to come.
