Babatunde Owokoniran is a Nigerian actor who is a typical example of grass to grace, he has been through several life struggles before he reach his point of fame. Here is a mini biography of Babatunde Owokoniran.
Tunde hails from Ogun state but spent his years of growth in Lagos State, he was born in a polygamous family so his sole provision was from his mother, attaining both primary and secondary education, Tunde's mother died soon after.
Life became a struggle as Tunde could no longer further his education, he soon found him self trying to make ends meet as a bus conductor in Lagos, he could only feed and clothe himself with the money he made from the venture so he slept under the bridge.
He had to stop being a conductor when he had a fight with his boss, he then began to sell plantain at ojuwoye market, the business wasn't so much better than being a conductor but he could at least survive.
He grabbed the opportunity to be an actor when he attended the same event as celebrity actor Odunlade Adekola at market. He spoke to the actor and Odunlade gave him the opportunity to have a better life.
Tunde did not just see acting as a gateway out of poverty but an occupation that helps his experience his passion, Tunde trained under Odunlade and he did well, he began to get various opportunity to feature in several movies which he took.
Over the years he has featured in over 50 movies and produced some movies for himself.
Living a better life now Tunde is married and the marriage is blessed with 2 children, he continues to make movies winning the hearts of more fans.
