Nigerian Fashion: Bubu; A Naija Wardrobe Must Have

There are so many types of attire that saturate Nigeria as a nation, examples are "iro and buba", "blouse and wrapper" "Abaya" and this due to the multiple tribes we have and the fact that each of those tribes has their own types of dresses.

One type of attire every woman in Nigeria is likely to have regardless of the tribe or beliefs is the Bubu. This is a free sized dress that is usually worn as a casual outfit. It can pass as a wedding party dress or even a picnic dress. It is widely loved because it is very comfortable and also modest.

This outfit comes in different colours and patterns and can either be short or long. It can be accessorized with a belt, a necklace or a turban but all this majorly depends on personal preference.
