In the Entertainment industry, one of the common relationship news we hear about is breakup news, most times they are couples we really thought would survive. There is no doubt that as they go through the heartache we partially get sad knowing that this ship won't sail anymore. But this post is not about heartbreaks but about love birds. We refuse to seat mopping over spilt milk but to celebrate those who have withstood the storm.
1) Funke Akindele and AbdulRahseed Bello: The duo are a sensation, they work together, play together, and definitely express the love they have towards each other, for the world to see. The couple was brought together, through Funke's self-produced popular series "Jenifa's Diary". Abdulrasheed aka JJC was the director, the duo began to spend time together and warm up to each other. In the 5th month of 2016, Funke Akindele and JJC got married. Married for the past 5years, the couple still look like they amaze each other. Their marriage has been blessed with twin boys and we believe the love in their family is still burning strong.
2) Banky Wellington and Adesuwa Etomi: This Couple is so cute, they take all the awwn!! when you see them on social media, this is probably because they keep all their marital issue on the low, out of public eyes. Adesuwa and Banky met on social media, (where most of you don't read your DM's, yes! I'm shaking that table) banky was the one to send a message which sincerely persuaded Suwa, According to the couple, they started dating in the year 2015, but eventually tied the knot in 2017. Their relationship, proposal, and marriage won the hearts of many. To date, the couple melts our hearts. Their marriage has been blessed with a bouncing baby boy, we definitely hope they keep the fire burning and keep us blushing.
3) Toyin Abraham and Kolawole Ajeyemi: This couple's love story is a case of finding love again even when you've had a bad experience with it once. Toyin and Kola were once married to different people, both marriages which did not work ended in a divorce, but has luck and love will happen, they both found each other. Toyin and Kola tied the knot in a traditional wedding in the year 2019, not long after, their marriage was blessed with a bouncing baby boy. The Adeyemi family is such a cute one, with little Ire always giving us the swag in the photoshoots.
4) Mercy Johson and Prince Odianosen Okojie: Mercy Johnson is one of Nigeria's most beautiful Nigerian female actresses. She's known to be quite jovial and talented in her skill. Prince Odianosen is likewise a business mogul successful in his trade of choice. The duo met each other on two occasions ( on a tv set and on a plane) before they decided to take things serious. Assured of the love they have for each other, they tied the knot on the 27th of August in the year 2011. Married for the past 10years, the couple has been blessed with four children, their marriage looks as cute as a 10year relationship should be. we hope to write another beautiful story for them in the next 10 years.
5) Linda Ejiofor Ibrahim Sulaiman: This couple makes me blush (yea I'm subjective here) I mean just look them, aren't they so cute?. Linda and Ibrahim are a unique couple, taking from the fact that they both come from different parts of Nigeria that are always against each other. Linda is from the Eastern part of the country while Ibrahim is from the Northern part. The couple met through mutual friends and came to help each other when one of them was going through a mourning period.
The duo has been married for the past three years, and rightfully, their marriage has been blessed with a baby boy. 3 years and counting, I am looking forward to writing another cute article about them in the next 20 years, how cool will that be ? (wink).
To this end, I really hope you enjoyed reading this article just like I enjoyed wiring this. If you feel you know more Nollywood couples who are likewise cute, do drop their names in the comment section. Let celebrate love this season.
