Who is Funke Akindele?

Funke Akindele Bello is a warm and friendly individual who places her value in people and variation of human nature. She is open-minded, versatile and values diversity and innovation. Career:

Olufunke Akindele is well known beautiful and talented actress, majorly recognized for her role as ‘Jenifa’ in the Nigerian comical but yet insightful Tv show, Jenifa’s Diary. Funke started her carer in the media profession as a journalist, she acquired her OND (Ordinary National Diploma) in Mass communication and acquired a Law degree from the University of Lagos to appease her father. Funke Akindele has a flair for entertaining and making people laugh, so she ventured into her career in acting. Now, Funke has her hands full as a mother of two beautiful twins. Being one of the CEO of a production company known as Scene One Production, she runs Scene One School of Drama, and she runs a non-government organization known as the Jenifa Foundation, which aims at providing young people with vocational skills.

Personal Relationships:

Funke Akindele is a 42-year-old, who maintains a youthful attitude at heart. She has the ability to inspire, uplift and make others feel understood and appreciated. She values family but to her this is beyond family related by blood. She believes family is a community, and she surrounds herself with her community. It is obvious that she has created a tolerant and light-hearted atmosphere at her work and in life. She loves taking on new projects but her highly agile mind and passion for novelty means she can run out of steam once the honeymoon period has passed. Luckily, her relationship with JJC Skillz who is more suited to manage the managerial side of things, with is 20+ years’ experience in making music and nurturing talent, has showcased just how amazing Funke Akindele’s ideas actually are, through the SceneOne Production, and she return the favour by re kindling his interest in music through the TV Show ‘Industreet’ and the formation of SceneOne Production Records.
