What Do You Know About Your History ? Grinding stone a.k.a Olota

Grinding stone a.k.a Olota

The grinding stone is used mostly Yoruba kitchens to mill tomatoes and pepper in the olden days.
The person using the grinding stone has to kneel and bend forward, holding the millstone with their both hand and move forward and backwards on the grinding stone.

This definitely is a history in the Yoruba kitchen.
